RSG offers consultative solutions. When you talk, we listen, and suggest services that address the service gaps and needs of you and your Plan. So we look forward to that conversation, but in the meantime here is a little bit about what we can offer: |
| |
Plan Advisory Oversight – Most business owners, union management, non-profit groups and associations are busy running their organizations, and not busy running their plans. But without someone in that quarterback role who has the ERISA qualified plan experience there can be many negative consequences: poor service, inadequate investments and oversight, poor design from both a cost and tax maximization standpoint, and potential corporate AND personal liability. Someone needs to actively oversee the benefit and ensure it is meeting the participant and company objectives. RSG can be that someone.
| |
Third Party Administration – RSG has the ability to design the plan, write the documents, file required tax notifications including the Form 5500, perform compliance & discrimination testing, policy creation and when appropriate, perform administration.
| |
Education & 404(c) – The cornerstone to a success participant-directed retirement plan is participant education. Education in a retirement plan is different from the standard educational seminars conducted by financial advisors who focus on the individual asset management space. Our programs are tailored both to ERISA standards and your specific demographic. We offer a full range of educational support modules and offer employee education in three languages.
| |
Co-Fiduciary – There are important legal oversight responsibilities that come with having a qualified retirement plan. Product providers and certain unethical agents claim to offer fiduciary protection, but no one can entirely remove this liability. There are some valuable tools in the industry to help, but having a pension consultant assist in designing and performing those oversight roles with key appointed management representatives is a crucial step.
| |
Actuarial Services – Few boutique TPA and pension consulting practices offer in-house actuarial services. We believe it is an important differentiator to have an ASA and FSA on staff. This allows us to offer more robust analysis on plan design, and to service defined benefit solutions with full accountability. In addition, RSG can be a more holistic consulting practice by looking at the health and productivity of various retirement benefits within an organization. Thus, we can offer enhanced options and analysis to our clients.

RSG is a fully independent, ERISA qualified retirement plan consulting practice. We believe in full fee disclosure and over delivering on client expectations when it comes to service and knowledge. We are most comfortable in implementing our outsourced 401(k) department service model, thus giving the client – “one neck to choke” accountability. However, we are very comfortable and experienced in running various fee-based projects including: |
